Upbrook Mews

Sand Architects were appointed to reimagine this existing Mews House located in the Bayswater Conservation Area in London. Our client came to us with a passion for high quality industrial design and handmade materials and wanted to create a unique home celebrating the character of traditional London Mews Developments. The project includes a complete reinvention of the existing building, increasing the internal area by 50%. The front façade will be rebuilt with glazed and London Stock Bricks, with the addition of a new second floor mansard extension and roof terrace. Planning Consent has recently been granted by Westminster City Council with a unanimous approval at Planning Committee. Our client hopes to start on site towards the end of 2023.
